​Kishwaukee Valley Wanderers are proud to present the Lucha Libre stars of Mexico. This special performance features five high-flying, hard-hitting matches and over twenty wrestlers, including stars such as El Maleficio, Corazon de Guerrero, Potro Romano and Alas de Fuego.
​
Mexico’s version of professional wrestling (the term literally means free-style wrestling) is one of the country’s biggest spectator activities today, eclipsed only in popularity by soccer. Characterized by colorful masks, flamboyant personalities and a whole lot of Spandex, it’s an edge-of-your-seat spectacle like no other and something that shouldn’t be missed.

Ticket proceeds are donated to the Genoa Area Chamber of Commerce.

Saturday Volksmarch 6K/10K Fun and Fitness Walk
When: Saturday, September 6
Start between 8:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Finish by 1:00 p.m.

Cost: Free event or $3.00 IVV Credit

Volksmarch means "people's march" in German. It is a non-competitive fitness walk of either 6k or 10K. The path winds along the beautiful Kishwaukee River and through Genoa. You are welcome to begin any time between 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. We encourage everyone to join us!

Join us for the best local festival of the fall season. Craft beer brewers and wineries from within 60 miles of Genoa will be showcasing their best offerings under the Country Financial Big Top! From 3:30 until 7:30 p.m. your $35 general admission ticket will get you samples from 20+ craft beer and wine vendors. VIP tickets get in an hour and a half early (2:00 p.m.) and include a host of appetizer and small plate items. Reserve a table, and all eight of your guests will be treated as V.I.P.s.

The Lennys have been rocking and rolling all around the Chicagoland area (and Wisconsin and Indiana) at festivals, corporate and private parties, and clubs since 2002. They know over 200 songs from five decades of rock hits and learn a few dozen new ones every year so that no two shows are ever the same!
